Wareham Golf Club was founded in 1908, originally with only 9 holes, and after many changes it became a full 18-hole course in 1989. You need to go and play this lovely course.
Wareham is an established heathland course, situated in the edge of Wareham Forest and just north of the historic town of Wareham itself. Although less than 6000 yards in length, Wareham is a challenging and enjoyable course that offers a rewarding experience to golfers of all standards. There are several superb panoramic views throughout the course, offering stunning vistas of Poole Harbour, the Purbeck Hills and Wareham Forest.
