Make it a romantic break in Aberdeenshire and play golf at Newmachar Golf Club, Scotland

Golfing is always better with your Open Fairways privilege card.  What a great way to play golf at some of the best courses throughout the UK, Ireland and abroad. Remember the more you play the more you save with Open Fairways......

The Hawkshill Championship course at Newmachar was designed by former Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas and opened for play in 1990. The course measures 6700 yards from the medal tees and is set amongst mature silver birch and Scots pine trees. Water hazards, combined with strategic bunkering of fairways and greens, make this one of the toughest tests of golf in the area.

The Swailend course at Newmachar was also designed by Dave Thomas and it opened for play in June 1997.

Although more forgiving than the Hawkshill course, the subtle contours and well positioned bunkers present all standards of golfer with a challenge that should not be underestimated.

Newmachar is an excellent golf club with a tremendous clubhouse and two contrasting but complimentary courses. A day's golf here will not only be memorable but will represent fantastic value for money. Save your best golf for the Hawkshill course, though. You'll need it!
