What beautiful weather to be out playing golf at the beautiful Kirkistown Castle Golf Club

Kirkistown Castle Golf Club is a unique Irish Links golf course and clubhouse situated on the eastern shores of County Down, Northern Ireland on the beautiful Ards Peninsula. Recently recognised as the Best Value Golf Experience in Ulster (Golfer's Guide to Ireland, 2019)

Kirkistown Castle is widely regarded as one of the best par 69 courses a golfer is ever likely to encounter.

Being situated at the seaside means that the wind is usually a significant feature of any round, but this means that every day is a new challenge - one of the reasons why we all love the game so much.

Kirkistown Castle will certainly never disappoint in this respect. The par of 69 belies a number of long and strong par fours and it is these holes that make the course the fine test of golf that it is.

The bunkering on the layout was designed by the legendary James Braid and golfers will have the opportunity to try out every club in the bag by the time the eighteenth green is reached.

Rated 12th Best course in Northern Ireland.
