The Point at Polzeath in Cornwall open all year for a great round of golf

The Open Fairways Privilege Card provides an affordable way to enjoy the very best that these islands have to offer, in terms of quality golf courses. The Point at Polzeath is one such course worth visiting.

2017 saw The Point win England Golf’s GolfMark Club of the Year, a remarkable turnaround from the darker days of 5 years ago.

The Club sits just above the Camel Estuary, a mile from St Enodoc and boasts spectacular views to Newlands Island.

The course continues to see investment and improvements from the new management team under the guidance of course architect Tim Lobb, recently added were some new bunkers and tees.

The Clubhouse has seen the addition of a new bar, which makes the most of the views and gives everyone a great opportunity to see both 9 and 18 greens. The course is a great test for golfers of all abilities and its condition improves every year, with the greens now considered to be among the best in Cornwall.

The accommodation at The Club in the shape of stunning modern apartments rivals anything in the County, which together with the onsite complimentary Health Club and pool make it an ideal base to explore the delights of North Cornwall.
