This challenging layout, designed by Tom Craddock and Pat Ruddy has hosted many tournaments including The Irish PGA Championship, Irish Senior’s Open and The Ladies Irish Open. 

The large USGA specification greens, rolling fairways and superb use of water hazards, incorporating the River Ward, provide a fantastic test of golf which is sure to satisfy all who play at this course. After golf, visitors can relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and hospitality in the lounge and restaurant which offer stunning views of the golf course. At St. Margaret’s, group bookings, society days and corporate events are expertly co-ordinated by the friendly and efficient clubhouse staff. The PGA golf professionals are on hand to provide golfers with the best advice on all their golfing queries including golf clinics, lessons, tee-times, competitions and golfing equipment. St. Margaret’s is the official venue for the Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA) Irish Region exams, PGA Professional Development Courses and a training venue for the Irish ladies Golfing Union.
