First day of Autumn but there is still time to play golf at Ardee Golf Club in County Louth, Ireland

THE CLUB OFFERS A MATURE 18-HOLE PARKLAND COURSE THAT IS VERY PLAYABLE WHILE AT THE SAME TIME PRESENTING A CHALLENGE TO GOLFERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.

Established in 1911 and with over a century of golfing history behind it, Ardee Golf Club has become one of the premier golfing destinations in Ireland's North East. Located in the centre of Co. Louth and 5 miles west of the M1 Dublin-Belfast motorway (junction 14), it is only 45 minutes from Dublin city and an hour from Belfast, making it very accessible from both north and south.

The Club offers a mature 18-hole parkland course that is very playable while at the same time presenting a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. Measuring 6,449 yards at its full length, the course offers tree-lined fairways, water hazards and feature holes. While offering a good balance in terms of playability and difficulty, but also fairness, the course requires the golfer to give some thought to their shot selection and throws a number of challenges in their path along the way.

The modern clubhouse, opened in 2003, boasts a comfortable restaurant offering top quality menus at very reasonable prices, a spacious and tastefully appointed bar/lounge and state of the art ladies and gents locker rooms. With its modern fully stocked pro shop and friendly staff, Ardee Golf Club is a great venue for visitors and societies.

Visitors should note that the Club also completed significant work during 2013 to improve drainage on the course, ensuring that the difficulties encountered by many golf courses during some very wet recent seasons will not be a problem for our course in the future.
