Golf in 2019 at the beautiful Burhill Golf Club in Surrey, England

In a leafy parkland setting on the outskirts of Surrey’s Walton on Thames, Burhill Golf Club has two spectacular golf courses offering a challenging and diverse experience for the seasoned golfer.

Play great courses with Open Fairways!!

Designed by Simon Gidman, the New Course is located to the south of the clubhouse on land that was home to the original South Course. (The South Course was given up for arable land during the Second World War). This remarkable championship course measures some 6940 yards and has a par of 72. It features two lakes, and burns run throughout the course. The testing 18th is a superb way to end a round of golf. This par 3 over the River Mole into a two-tier green in front of the terrace is enough to give any golfer butterflies!

The elegant Georgian mansion clubhouse was re-opened in September 2001, having undergone a multi million-pound refurbishment. Owned by the Guinness family, the Club has an intriguing history. The mansion was once home to the Duchess of Wellington, and was the place where Barnes Wallis invented the famous 'Bouncing Bomb'. The Orangery bistro, a new addition to the Clubhouse provides a relaxed environment to take meals and refreshments after your round. Overlooking the 18th of the New Course and the River Mole, it is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere of this friendly club.
