West Linton Golf Club

West Linton, EH46 7HN

The West Linton Golf Club was founded in 1890 through the endeavours of the local schoolmaster, Robert Millar. The course is set in magnificent scenery with unparalleled views of the Pentland Hills and is without doubt one of Scotland's best kept golfing secrets. The abundance of wildlife wandering the course, its exquisite setting and warm welcome ensure that a visit is an experience seldom forgotten. The 14th hole is usually played into the prevailing west wind from an elevated tee and subsequently ranks as one of the toughest holes here. Moreover, the finish could not be much more demanding; a 230 yard par 3 which is played uphill to a small, elevated green. Golfers may come across a plaque behind the green, in honour of the founder, and invariably wish him a heartfelt thank-you for the undisputed gem that he has bequeathed.

Restrictions: Please call a maximum of 4 days in advance to make your booking, all tee times are subject to availability.
