Peebles Golf Club, overlooking the town and surrounded by the Borders hills, has developed into one of the best courses in the Borders and neighbouring Edinburgh region and with a modern clubhouse, it now boasts facilities to rival the best.

The testing course is just over 6,100 yards long and features wide, rolling fairways with some magnificent views along the Tweed valley. The course has a very tough start, with the opening four holes played mainly into the westerly wind, but is more generous when the turn is made back down the hill to the ninth. The back nine offers a generous start, but from the fourteenth onwards the closing five holes often prove very difficult. The clubhouse, overlooking the opening hole, provides a bar, lounge and restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and excellent catering.
