Swaffham Golf Club is just five minutes from the centre of one of Norfolk's ancient market towns, where the George Hotel (01760 721238) offers competitive prices for dinner, bed and breakfast.

Established in 1922 as a nine hole course, the additional nine were opened in 2001 having transformed the layout into an attractive and demanding 18 holes. Most of the new holes were carved out of mature woodland and have blended well with the existing course. Being heathland it remains well drained and on the main greens when many courses in the area are muddy or closed.

Always renowned as a friendly and hospitable club this reputation has persisted as the membership builds. You will be sure of a warm welcome.
