Scarborough South Cliff's golf course is an expansive seaside layout with a difference.

The course which remains true to the ideals of its architect, Dr. Alistair MacKenzie (designer of Augusta) is in two parts.

On the inland parkland side are the first three and final seven holes, whilst holes four to ten are situated on the cliff tops giving inspiring views of Scarborough’s South Bay and the rugged coastline to Filey.

At a shade over 6,500 yards, par 72, with four short holes, South Cliff is huge fun, not least on a summers day when the views are breathtaking and the holiday ambience unforgettable.

A most friendly welcome in the pro-shop and in the clubhouse enhances the day.
