Saltford Golf Club

Golf Club Lane, Saltford, Bristol BS31 3AA

Saltford Golf Club is situated in 150 acres of attractive countryside midway between Bath and Bristol, just off the main A4 trunk road. The course nestles in a natural wooded setting with extensive views over Bath, the Avon valley and the surrounding Somerset countryside and forms part of the Duchy of Cornwall’s Newton St Loe Estate. The club was formed in 1904 and is one of the six founder member clubs of the Somerset Golf Union.

The front nine provides a stern test with two par 5s, including the longest hole on the course, the 5th, which measures 571 yards off the back tee and three par 4s over 420 yards long.

The back nine is a little more forgiving with a few birdie opportunities but watch out for the 17th and 18th, which are two spectacular finishing holes. The course is only ever closed in dangerous conditions and trolleys are allowed throughout the year.

Restrictions: Please contact in advance to make a booking, all tee times are subject to availability. Offer is based on 2-4 golfers.
