Cullen Links Golf Club

The Links , Cullen, Moray AB56 4WB

Formed in 1870, Cullen Links Golf Club is situated alongside the beautiful sweeping Cullen Bay. The initial nine holes are the work of old Tom Morris, and in 1907 local golf professional, Charlie Neaves extended the course to 18 holes.

Over the years the course has changed somewhat but it still remains a testament to Morris and Neaves. The course incorporates many blind shots, which were popular in golf course design at the turn of the century.

The first hole is a straightforward par 4, and the second plays blind up onto an escarpment where another four holes are laid out. There are rugged red sandstone crags jutting out of the water and rocky outcrops on the lower level, and the natural hazards - including the sandy beach which is out of bounds - all come into play.

Cullen is fairly short, but golfers will never tire of playing this beautiful and challenging course.

Restrictions: Sat and Sun strictly by arrangement. No play between 8.30-10.30am on Mon. Telephone in advance to book, all reservations are subject to availability. Offer is based on 2 or 4 golfers only and available Apr 1st until Oct 31st.
