The course is mainly parkland with mature trees. There are 9 greens and 18 tees. One of the holes has a steep hill to be climbed, but the views from the top are outstanding! The course is ideal for beginners and children as it is generally very quiet. There is no need to book a tee time - simply turn up at the course and pay your green fees by putting your money in an envelope and posting it in the honesty box. The fee for Golfhaftet members is £10 and you can play for a whole day. For 2015 we are introducing a 6 hole layout which plays a shorter course that avoids the steep hill. This is ideal for children and for older players! Look out for our green keeper Bongo, who looks after the course and also plays in a pipe band.
