The Dinvin 9-Hole Course

One of Portpatrick’s well-kept secrets is the excellent 9-hole, Par 3 Dinvin Course, which is maintained to the same high standards as the 18-hole Dunskey Course.

Opened in 1914, it was originally described as a “Ladies Course, a nine hole iron and putt course which has proved enjoyable not only to members of the fair sex but to the golfer who has the sense to test his iron shots”.

Taking about an hour to play, it is ideal for the golfer looking for a quick bit of exercise or for the beginner who does not feel up to the rigours of 18 holes.
