The course was designed by Jan Sederholm in 1982, in scenic surroundings with lakes and streams. Most of the course's 5.5 km walk up the dense fairways is wrapped between tall flowering grasses and other vegetation on the sides. From 17 out of the 18 holes it is possible to get a clear view of Kalundborg fjord, or Kattegat with Sejerø in the background.
