With a maritime atmosphere, in the heart of state-owned oak and pine forests, with a view of the port of Bourgenay and the ocean in some places, the large course (5,621 metres) is attractive because of its privileged location on the ocean shore. On this unspoilt Vendée coast, it is unique and enjoys an ideal location for playing on relatively flat terrain, thanks to variations with sea faces in full view. While it welcomes beginners, it is also perfect for experienced players who have to contend with the wind from the sea, and the high rough in several places makes the course very technical on certain holes.
