Nenagh Golf Club

Beechwood , Nenagh

Established in 1929, Nenagh Golf Club features panoramic views of the Co. Tipperary countryside and traditionally requires accurate driving and approach shots to sloping, two-tier greens.

It has played host to several GUI Championships such as the Irish Boys Close in 1994. In recent times, under the expert guidance of course architect, Patrick Merrigan, Nenagh has been significantly upgraded and thirteen new holes opened for play in June 2001. The par 72 layout incorporates two lakes and a classic short hole reminiscent of the 'Postage Stamp' at Royal Troon. Nenagh is set to become one of Ireland's premier parkland courses.
