Lochwinnoch Golf Club is set in a quiet country conservation village and is a beautiful 6025 yards hillside course, giving commanding views of the surrounding Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire countryside. Any player who plays to their handicap here has passed an examination in creative shotmaking. In this regard the excellently prepared greens and lush fairways offer no excuses. The signature 424yard dogleg first hole, with out of bounds running all of its east side and a 50 yard long three-tier elevated green, has been voted one of the most challenging and satisfying opening holes in the country.
