Killymoon Golf Club

200 Killymoon Road, Cookstown BT80 8SD

Killymoon Golf Club is named after Killymoon Castle, designed in 1804 by John Nash and reputedly owned at one time by King George IV who won it on the throw of a dice. Founded in 1889, the present parkland layout is a challenging and most enjoyable test of golf. The outward nine starts with a picturesque and demanding dogleg par 5 which skirts the woods of Killymoon Castle.

The signature hole at Killymoon however, is probably the aptly named 343m par 4 10th hole- 'Giant's Grave'. Accuracy is paramount on this tree lined masterpiece and the daunting tee shot into a narrow-necked fairway will challenge even the most seasoned campaigner. The almost claustrophobic influence of the trees continues the whole way to the green.

Restrictions: Please contact club in advance to book, all tee times are subject to availability. Offer applies to 1-4 golfers maximum.
