West End is an easy walking course which is a demanding, but fair, challenge for all standard of golfer. Originally moor and heathland, extensive tree planting and drainage development have now given a parkland feel to the layout. The mature trees now mean that accuracy is rewarded - visitors will find their ball, but the nature of the trees are likely to cost you a shot. An interesting mix of tricky par 3's and long par 4's will test every club in the bag, while a warm and friendly welcome awaits visitors in the well-equipped clubhouse, which evokes 100 years of golfing character.
