The Golf Club Paradiso del Garda is a golf course that was designed by Jim Fazio, an American architect, following modern standards. It’s open all year round and has 18 regulation-size holes. Its technical features meet the needs even of the most demanding golfer.
It is located in Peschiera del Garda, nera Verona, one kilometre from the motorway exit, and therefore easily accessible from all over northern Italy.
Playing golf on such a course is a fun and exciting experience, with five lakes, one of which is natural, numerous bunkers, and very wide and undulating greens.
In a very short time, precisely because of the importance and quality of the course, the Golf Club Paradiso del Garda has become part of the most prestigious national golf circuits, enjoying considerable success due to the massive participation of golfers in the organised competitions.
The grass of the Golf Course: the choice of turf for tees, greens and fairways fell on Agrostis Stolonifera, a highly valuable and high-performance microtherm species.
In particular, for the greens, the cultivar called Penn-A4 was chosen. Extremely dense, it withstands very low cuts even in situations of thermal and water stress and makes the greens always uniform, smooth and fast throughout the year. This allows the player to take shots that are always precise in their trajectories to putt.
Finally, the bunkers that cover an area of 8,000 square metres are made not of ordinary sand, but of white quartzite, which gives the course a noteworthy peculiarity.
Many services and facilities are also offered: a driving range with covered tees, putting green, pitch green, bunker, a Pro Shop, a swimming pool, a wellness centre, a bar, a buvette and an à la carte restaurant.
