The club was founded in 1888 and is situated on top of steep cliffs to the north of the town, making it one of the most dramatic golf courses in Aberdeenshire.

Stonehaven GC provides magnificent views of the North Sea, Stonehaven Bay and of the ancient fortress of Dunnottar Castle.

The course sets a stiff challenge for all standards of golfer and will be a test of your short game, featuring a number of dramatic short holes played over deep gullies and along the top of steep cliffs.

Although the course itself is short the prevalence of out of bounds makes life difficult for even the best of golfers and the ubiquitous North Sea breeze can toughen the course considerably.

Restrictions: Please contact club in advance to make a booking, all tee times are subject to availability. After 10am Tue, Wed & Thur and Saturdays after midday. Offer is based on 1-4 golfers.
